Seeking a Scale Operator for a busy, well-established company!

Job duties include:

• Responsible for facilitating all activities including grading and weighing all ferrous and non-ferrous loads coming into the facility
• Direct customers to appropriate unloading areas and communicate with yard personnel for inspection purposes
• Accurate and correct handling of weight tickets ensuring correct weight ticket is provided to customer
• Answer phone calls regarding pricing, grading, directions, and other general inquiries

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of office and computer experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions since work will be conducted in office & yard environments
• Ability to use 10-key calculator and various office equipment
• Strong attention to detail
