Seeking a Manual Machinist for a busy, well-established company!

Job duties include:

• Will be operating a manual lathe in the shop
• Will operate machine to perform operations such as turning, boring, threading and producing precision parts
• Will interpret blueprints, set up appropriate tools, and set up machine according to specifications
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Will perform routine maintenance, clean machine, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Load & unload materials & finished parts from the machine

Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Must have a strong understanding of machining techniques including how to adjust speeds, feeds, and tool positions
• Must have attention to detail and work with precise tolerances
• Applicants will be background and drug screened for this position
