Panel Shop Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Panel Shop Supervisor for a well-established company! Candidate ill be responsible for managing and supervising the daily operations of our workshop & production facility. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to lead of team of skilled technicians and fabricators

Job duties include:

  • Will manage and coordinate the work of assemblers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical wiring, assembly and testing
  • Develop and implement shop policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any disciplinary issues
  • Order and maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and to address any technical issues
  • Develop and implement procedures for the assembly of products, ensuring that all work meets quality standards
  • Utilize a caliper to measure and inspect products and materials
  • Work with schematics to plan and execute assembly tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Proven experience in a workshop or production facility, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, and panel assembly
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple task simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office.
